Eating disorders

Although serious, eating disorders can be treated and overcome.

The sooner you get the treatment you need, the more likely you are to make a full recovery.

Anyone can develop an eating disorder, regardless of their age, sex or cultural background.

The causes are not simply about body image but an attempt to deal with underlying emotional issues.

Eating disorders claim more lives than any other mental illness. One in five of the most seriously affected will die prematurely from the physical consequences or suicide.
