Paying For Care

An old man in blue reads a book, with others around him.

Charges for care are complex, and you should seek more detailed advice from the Age UK advice line on 0800 678 1602 (8am to 7pm 365 days a year).

Alternatively you can download their Paying for Care Factsheet.

If the person you care for has ongoing medical care needs, then they may qualify for free NHS Continuing Care. You can find out if they are eligible in this document.

If you are responsible for paying top up fees for Care Home or Community Care and the Local Authority are contributing towards your care, the Charity may be able to assist. Please contact us at help@foryoubyyou.org.uk for further information.
