Having retired in June this year, Maureen has left a strong legacy of wellbeing support. She has been a strong advocate for the principle everyone matters, should be valued and deserves support. She worked hard to embed a culture of workplace wellbeing across Scotland, gaining the respect of people across her department. She was instrumental in achieving the Healthy Working Lives accreditation in her office for several years in a row, achieving gold in the past two. She also set up a cancer sufferers and care network, benefiting 80 people in the office - “Maureen’s efforts have taken our support groups to a different level”.
