A leading member of the HMRC Mental Health Support Network, Martyne “embarked on a crusade to improve the level of support available to staff”. She knew from her own experience the importance of having “the right support, at the right time”. Overcoming her own personal difficulties and with great tenacity, she pushed through initial reservations for the group and has enabled its success. Her input has been so well recognised that she has been approached and used across other offices to provide ongoing support to staff. She has been nominated for transforming her vision into a reality and for her leadership in guiding and directing the group.
