Described as “a catalyst for sustainable change”, Cora is working to increase awareness of and make sure carer’s are recognised across The Charity Commission. Being open about her own experiences as a working carer, she is encouraging others to do the same. She has successfully arranged membership for the Commission to Carer’s UK – providing staff access to support and guidance, cross-site training for managers and secured support to become a Carer’s Accredited Employer. She also represented the Commission at the Civil Service Disability Network. Her passion is wanting carer’s to feel supported at work so can perform at their best.
